These Terms of Service apply to the use of the Maria Sailing Charters El Nido website and to enquiries or charter arrangements made through this website or through direct communication with Maria Sailing Charters.
By using this website, sending an enquiry or proceeding with a charter arrangement, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Website information
The information on this website is provided for general guidance and enquiry purposes. While reasonable care is taken to keep the information useful and accurate, charter details, pricing, routes, inclusions, availability and operational arrangements may change from time to time.
Maria Sailing Charters may update, change or discontinue any aspect of the website or any charter information without prior notice.
2. Enquiry-first service
This website does not provide instant online booking, checkout, automatic payment processing or automatic availability confirmation.
All enquiries are reviewed manually. Dates, routes, group size, inclusions, pricing, deposits, payment details and final arrangements must be confirmed directly before any booking is accepted.
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability and does not create a confirmed booking.
3. Boat and charter information
Maria is presented as a crewed cruising catamaran for private sailing experiences around El Nido and nearby Philippine islands. Current charter information describes the vessel as a Leopard 38 / Maxum-style cruising catamaran with space to lounge, an onboard galley and capacity for up to 12 guests on suitable day charters.
Overnight and multi-day arrangements may have lower recommended guest numbers depending on route, comfort requirements, weather, crew arrangements and final confirmation.
The boat is operated with crew and is intended for relaxed private sailing, island hopping, sightseeing, snorkelling stops, quiet anchorages, family time, adventure and relaxation.
4. Routes and departure information
Example routes may include areas such as Corong Corong, Inabuyatan Island, Pungtud Island sandbar, Lagen Island, Pinsail Island or Cathedral Rock, Snake Island and other suitable locations around El Nido or on longer El Nido to Coron arrangements.
Routes are examples only. Final routes, timing, departure points and destinations depend on weather, sea conditions, guest requirements, safety, permits, operational considerations and direct confirmation.

5. Pricing, inclusions and custom offers
Any pricing or package information shown on this website is indicative only unless confirmed directly in writing.
Final pricing, inclusions, exclusions, guest capacity, route, food arrangements, deposit requirements, payment method and cancellation terms are confirmed directly before a booking is accepted.
A custom offer or direct confirmation may be required before any charter is considered booked.
6. Weather, sea conditions and safety
Sailing activities depend on weather, tides, sea conditions and operational safety. Maria Sailing Charters may adjust, delay, shorten, reschedule or cancel a charter where safety or operating conditions require it.
Guests must follow reasonable safety instructions from the captain and crew while aboard Maria, during transfers, swimming, snorkelling, island stops and any related charter activities.
Sailing, boating, swimming, snorkelling, island visits and sea-based travel involve natural risks. Guests participate with awareness of these risks and must act responsibly.
7. Guest responsibilities
Guests are responsible for providing accurate enquiry details, including names, contact information, dates, guest numbers, preferred route, special occasions, dietary needs, food or comfort requirements, health considerations, mobility needs and any safety-relevant information.
Guests are responsible for arriving on time, bringing suitable personal items, following instructions, respecting the boat, crew, other guests, local communities and marine environments, and avoiding unsafe or disruptive behaviour.
8. Payments, deposits and cancellations
Payment, deposit and cancellation terms are arranged directly as part of the booking discussion. No payment should be considered requested or confirmed unless it has been clearly agreed through direct communication with Maria Sailing Charters or Alan.
Cancellation or rescheduling terms may vary depending on the route, duration, notice period, weather, supplier arrangements and the agreed booking terms.
9. Communications and enquiries
You agree that information, requests or instructions sent through the website, email, WhatsApp or other internet-based channels may be relied on as the information received by Maria Sailing Charters.
You are responsible for checking that the information you submit is accurate and for notifying Maria Sailing Charters promptly if any details change.
10. Intellectual property
The text, images, branding, layout, design and other materials on this website are provided for the Maria Sailing Charters website and may not be copied, reproduced, republished or reused without permission, except where allowed by law.
